Ever see those triangle or other weird symbols next to people's names? Ever wonder what they are there for? Well of course it means they are a part of the staff, but what do they REALLY mean?
First off any staff member has usually had some longevity with the game, because they were trusted by the other staff to fulfill the role that they are in. They have shown responsibility and a willingness to help the game. Any staff member is a good place to look if you have questions about the game you want answered, and if they can't answer it they should know who to go to get the answer.
All staff members volunteer their time and do not get paid for the work that they do, so it is a common courtesy to be civil with them when discussing any issues. The current admins for your reality are listed here. Also for transparency, the admin menu is public. It lists in detail all abilities of the different roles.
- The blue triangle identifies Moderators or Librarians who keep the forums sane, review texture uploads and maintain this Wiki.
- This image means that the person was chosen as a mentor. Every faction should have at least one mentor who will assist new players in getting started, answering any questions they may have.
- The bronze triangle denotes a Game Master, who has access to more elaborate moderation tools and trains and assists the moderators.
- This is a Game Administrator, whose tools are potentially disruptive and not required for routine administration.
- The gold triangle are Lead Admins and Developers, the people responsible for all aspects of running the game.
- The Special Deputee is a temporary role, usually used by Developers for setting up a new game round. The Deputee can see the whole universe without exploring.
- The Special Investigator is another temporary role, allowing for viewing and modifying many unowned entities in the game. It is useful for debugging problems that require access to the reporting player's assets.
