The Crimson Centipede cannot be researched - it is found through exploration in the same manner as other Crimson Prints.

A Crimson Centipede is a hybrid iron, copper, lime processor. Like all crimson mines, it is based on very simple and usually abundant resources and does not require any extra materials to be built. Due to its high cost and low efficiency, it is generally only used for gathering small amounts at new colonies.
