The general settings page can be found in the menu under your player name. It allows you to configure many useful defaults, change the interface colors, enable notifications and more. It also contains a link to the editor for your personal player profile.

Defaults will apply to all new fleets and colonies. Taunts are message displayed in the battle log.

At the bottom of the page is an option to reset your account.
