The Sensor Net is a system of listening posts that can be used to scan wide areas of the universe at once. The Sensor Net can be accessed from the Intel menu.
Your listening post must be deployed outside a system to detect fleets in open space!
- The Sensor Net will combine the scans of all its listening posts into a single page to be viewed.
- Each participating fleet must be first deployed as a listening post before it can be used in a network scan.
- A Sensor Net scan has much greater scanning range (up to 10 million km per scanner level when set up).
- The Sensor Net scans automatically 8 hours.
- Detected fleets will remain displayed on the Sensor Net for at least 60 days after their last detection.

Sensor Net
A Sensor Net scan is similar to a Perimeter Scan with the following important differences:- The Sensor Net will combine the scans of all its listening posts into a single page to be viewed.
- Each participating fleet must be first deployed as a listening post before it can be used in a network scan.
- A Sensor Net scan has much greater scanning range (up to 10 million km per scanner level when set up).

Command Frigate Effects
Command Frigates can be used as the flagship of a fleet in order to cloak it from sensor scans. If the detecting fleet's scanner level is lower than that of the Command Frigate, the maximum detection range, and distances at which more information about the scanned fleet can be discovered, are reduced.
