Troop Transports, TTs, are ships which have the unique ability to capture enemy capital ships.

Capturing a vessel occurs during battle when an enemy ship has had its shields fully depleted. At this point, the crew may attempt to board the enemy vessel to make it yours.

Troop Transports are armed solely with defensive gun batteries, but can carry a handful of small vessels.
