Colonize is a type of mission that you can give a fleet to order them to form a colony on a planet.

The mission will only succeed if the fleet is targeting a planet that you do not have a colony on and the fleet contains a colonizer with at least 300 colonists.

When the colonizer reaches the planet and sets up a colony, it is recycled for its materials.

If you have more than one colony ship in your fleet all of them will be used to create the colony.

Your people will dismantle the colonizer for their first habitats. The colony will retain a part of the scrap, which depend on the materials used to build the ship.
