The Crimson Cruiser cannot be researched - it is found through exploration in the same manner as other Crimson Prints.

It is a destroyer variant with less offensive firepower, but better point defense, much larger carrier capacity and slightly more speed. It is a well rounded vessel with a similar mission profile as a corvette.
