The destroyer is a capital ship heavily geared towards offensive capabilities.


Destroyers offer by far the most direct firepower, in relative terms. They are almost as cost effective for disposing hostile capital ships as the bomber, with a far greater operational radius.

While destroyers are well protected in terms of shields and armor, they have very little point defense capabilities, making them extremely vulnerable to small vessels.
