Acronyms constantly occur in the Atmoburn Universe. They are a short-hand form of writing a longer word or phrase that may be used often. As new terms and objects are added into theAtmoburnUniverse, so the list of Acronyms grows. This is just a partial list of acronyms that have been used over the course of the game and may still be in use today.

100x3 - System Entrance (now 0,40,10)
AA - AA Battery
BB - Battleship
BP - Blueprints
CF - Command Frigate
CSD - Capital Ship Drive
CV - Corvette
CW - Commonwealth (see Dead Factions)
DD - Destroyer
EA - Empire Administration
EF - Recreation Center, formerly Entertainment Facility
GML - Missile Launcher
H(X) - Used to refer to an instance (X) since the instances returned to a historic format.
HW - Homeworld
I/W - Blueprint with only Iron/Water requirements
ICOW - Blueprint with only Iron, Water, Copper, and Oil resources
I(X) or IN(X) - Refers to Instance (X), where (X) is a positive integer.
LR - Low Resource
PS - Police Station
RF - Research Lab, formerly Research Facility
SBG - Single Barrel
SDL - Shelter Defense Legion (see Dead Factions)
SS - Space Station
SVD - Small Vessel Drive
Tech - Technology, Blueprints
TI - Technocratic Initiative
TL - Tech level of a blueprint
TS - rarely used abbreviation for Trade Station, better known as a Space Station, also very rarely used to signify the game owner, Thunderstorm
TT - Troop Transport
WH - Wormhole
